How MPR Military Power Rankings Scores Are Calculated

The Military Power Rankings (MPR) algorithm is a combat-tested, scenario-informed, and simulation-validated global military strength index designed to evaluate real combat capability and battlefield effectiveness. The system integrates combat-relevant military factors across multiple operational domains including land, air, naval, cyber, nuclear, logistics, force posture, strategic depth, geography, national resilience, and multi-domain capability.

Unlike systems that reward military size alone, MPR evaluates how nations would realistically perform under modern war conditions. The rankings framework incorporates normalization, strategic weighting, qualitative modifiers, readiness analysis, doctrinal alignment, and simulation-informed modeling to compare military strength by country through a real-world combat lens.
